Hello Assia and thanks for sharing this very interesting initative. I was wandering: how does it related with the FAO-led Globally Important Agricultural Heritage Systems (GIAHS) initiative? In 2002 FAO started GIAHS with the objective to establish the basis for international recognition, dynamic conservation and adaptive management of a series of agricultural heritage systems. GIAHS is already operating in Peru, Chile, China, Philippines, Tunisia, Algeria, Kenya and Tanzania. You can read more on: http://www.fao.org/nr/giahs/en/
