To be short: Yemen can use anaerobic digestion technology. The water footprint of the fuel is typically high (producing crop / biomass / manure / meat)but will most likely be used in other countries. The water required to cool the electricityplant could be replaced by desalinated sea / brackish water (using reverse omose technology or solar technologies) so therefore the limited amount of fresh water isn't stressed that much.
