Himalayan mountains are also termed as water tower of earth and here we have major problem related to proper management of water in time and space. The accessibility of water is a major constraint in this region and to come over from this situation, we need better governance that could be facilitated and advocated through some reliable and out of box thinking institutions/organizations. Working for funding is a dilemma in the region and most of the funded work has serious sustainability issues.
