I heard about previous water resources of Tehran, Iran. It had a low salinity and high quality for drinking usag. Nowadays, it is obvious for us that zeolite minerals had an effective role on the phenomena. Groundwater move along the aquifer which is made of zeolite. I hope that this answer guide you.
