You are right that so many dedicated people are working for ICID. But as an institution, changes are required in ICID. ICID has the responsibility to set policies in irrigation and Drainage sector in the world. The persons / organisations, which are not at all expert in I and D , are becoming the front runner in this sector. I do not think that it is a palatable situation. I only suggest that ICID may like to review its activities and policies for betterment of people of the world at large.

@Yogesh, I'm certain there are many dedicated people working for ICID; unfortunately, it is easy to become too comfortable in a large bureaucracy enforcing a set of regulations or policies, not having to do any original work. You have so many talented people and other organizations to draw from.
