Yes, you are right Sir. Government policies are way behind in implementation. There are various initiatives, like subsidy in drip irrigation, were already taken by the Government to reduce the water consumption and increase the water utilization in agriculture. However, due to lacking in implementation of policies as well as training, Government should at least plan the field channels, which will be simpler task for implementation in the current system, for best possible water utilization. Also, land survey should be strictly checked, prior to the construction of roads, to restrict the water logging during the monsoon.
