The capacity of a population to ensure that they continue to have access to potable water should be the prime concern for every country. Water security is an increasing concern arising from population growth, drought, climate change, urbanisation, salinity, upstream pollution, poverty and exploitation of groundwater . Water security is rapidly declining in many parts of the world. Mostly the developing countries has to work upon it before its too late to act upon. Thanks Huijan for sharing this link. The technical sessions are very interesting and addressing the issues deeply.I would be very interested in knowing the result of the talk and how the countries are going to implement them.
