Yes, we need to preserve the natural rivers and onds, they are essential to clean water and keep biodiversity high. My experience here in Kenya is, that even GIZ has no interest in that, despite having a big water programme. They think about water only when its in a pipe. Hi to all. I do not formulated the discussion, sorry. I am part of a group (http://www.comitepcj.sp.gov.br/comitespcj.htm) that formulating studies in the metropolitan area of Campinas - São Paulo - Brazil. what if the natural fresh water stream is converted into a drain! and if its flood plain is decreasing and also is the cause of urban flooding ?
