I have been working in the field of food safety , sustainable agriculture, renewables , business development since 1993. Initially projects like these go on a very good note but then after the passage of time the farmers will find themselves as slave farmers , only producing the pulp for coke or pepsi or any other brand on cheaper rates. The agreement between the farmer and the consortium should be read carefuly and if it is a business it should clearly state as a business venture , using its CSR budget to have a tax escape and on the hand creating a hatchery of farmers . Sorry for being so pessimistic about the project but that has been my very bad experience in these parts of the world
