I had an opportunity to listen Vandana once in Paris. A brilliant lady with clear thoughts and words. She is clearly explaining the problems and alternatives here in the videos but the money minded people will not like her. Visit her blogs and website and you will clearly get the idea what she is doing for agriculture and poor farmers. Thanks Boris for uploading this video. And thanks Vish for sharing it.

Vandana shiva is great lady with tremendous knowledge on farming. I agree that monoculture had increased the productivity of cotton but soil got degrated, water consumption had increased and the seeds were expensive. She is promoting organic farming and claims that it has more production. I believe her.
