Among the main problems which are responsible for this situation not only in Afrika but in developing countries are lack of priority given to the sector, lack of financial resources, lack of sustainability of water supply and sanitation services, poor hygiene behaviors, and inadequate sanitation in public places including hospitals, health centres and schools. I strongly believe that sanitation must be made a human right as it has been done with water. Government has to invest in the awareness and development projects. Even the communities has to come forward for resolving their problems.
