Bassem Many thanks for the post, in fact there's huge gap between water use and the re-use. It's about the people living in! Things getting wroth everyday even on coastal areas (i.e. Yemen, Oman, UAE and KSA as well). Now they planning for water mining on different parts in the region (water harvest but as you know it's like people meet on any international conference with outcome. So sad That's to say it's not about the scarcity of water, as you can say its about nature of using water (for instance in on daily basis) so sad to see price of water is higher than oil (in KSA). On southern part of the kingdom, the people used different techniques for finding groundwater (the traditional one :) love that magic show). when Jeddah city get flooded the govt issues clear instruction for companies and civilian to cooperate on city planing and they do! WHY? I think they remember that day :0 . I think the more you suffer the more you will have deep understanding of the matter. stay tuned buddies ^_^

Thank you for your comment. We have a long way to go in improving water use efficiency and reuse. So it is worth sharing some case studies in these aspects. Of course storm water harvesting is also important so long it does not negatively affect ecosystems.
