Yes. When a lake receives treated wastewater from a wastewater treatment plant, the water treatment takes in this water through the water treatment processes by ozonation, coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, filtration, chlorination, and addition of orthophosphate and fluoride. There are treatment processes that use membrane technology as part of the water treatment.
