This would require a two fold approach to dealing with the algae, potentially via ultrasonic technology, which has been proven in places such as Dominican Republic in the Caribbean, along with disinfection/oxidation which has been done in the Toledo, Ohio US for toxins created by (cyanobacteria (blue/green algal species) in Lake Michigan. Even though, they are spending over US$ 3 million, it is not working because the approach is wrong.
