I am 63 years old. I have worked in various capacities in the water and wastewater fields. Most of my career has been in the regulatory arena with the State of Florida Dept. of Environmental Protection (DEP) and Palm Springs (municipality) Public Services Dept. With DEP I did compliance/enforcement and permitting of domestic waste- water, drinking water, & industrial wastewater treatment plants under the guidelines of the NPDES (National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System) Program. At the Palm Springs Public Services Dept. I was responsible for the management of the municipal separate stormwater sewer system (MS4) which was also under the NPDES program. I have worked in an analytical laboratory doing water & wastewater analysis; for engineering firms doing drinking water and industrial wastewater treatment research & development; and various duties on the Interstate Highway, I-84-86, Reconstruction Project in Hartford, Connecitcut.
