Best NGO : Water and Sanitation

For the second time in a row #IndiaWaterFoundation has been felicitated with the #WaterDigestWaterAwards 2018-19 as #BestNGO in the category of #Water and #Sanitation’ at The Lalit New Delhi on 28/02/2019. While taking the award from Sh.#UPSingh #Secretary #MinistryofWaterResources, GOI in presence of Sh. #NitinGadkari #MinisterofWaterResources, GOI #DrArvindKumar President, India Water Foundation thanked #WaterDigest for the award and further added “Working on a Pan India basis, we have successfully nurtured the idea of #IntegratedModel’ to bring about Collaborative & Coordinated efforts among various sectors and stakeholders. In the regional setting, we took cognisance for proactive mentorship to bring about visible results in the #NorthEasternstates of #Meghalaya and #Sikkim by way of creation of ‘sustainable livelihoods’ adopting #circulareconomy. Further, working as a ‘Catalyst of Change’ in the : Aspirational districts of #UttarPradesh and #Uttarakhand, we have embarked on a broader vision to catapult the hidden inspirations of the ‘Aspirational Districts”..

He also added “This award is a testimony for the tireless efforts put for the last ten years which have finally paid off successfully”. Having worked in different realms of #Water, #Energy, #SustainableDevelopment, the award is a true validation for the sincere and dedicated efforts put forth by the team of IWF. Kudos to the upright and leadership spirit of IWF for creating an environ on raising the bar high to forge ‘Capacity Building-Competence-Convergence’ in the field of #Environment and Sustainable Development.
