Jessica Linville is the CEO and founder of RWEDI-Water Solutions. Jessica has a dynamic background with a Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Tennessee and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Florida. She also has 7 years of combined R&D experience from both Oak Ridge National Laboratory and Argonne National Laboratory. Her recent work as an entrepreneurial lead for the DOE’s Lab-Corps program has given her an advantage in technology commercialization.  She has also published 9 peer reviewed journal articles. She believes there is a lot of opportunity to bring real solutions to industry based on the research she conducted at the national laboratories.  She has received an option for the RWEDI-Water technology from Argonne National Laboratory and working on bringing the product to market for mid-sized institution cooling tower applications.

Conducted research at Oak Ridge National Laboratory for the DOE BioEnergy Science Center (BESC). Produced a mutant strain of C. thermocellum evolved to Populus hydrolysate inhibitors. Performed dynamic genomic and transcriptomic analysis of evolved strain to elucidate the mechanism of tolerance.
