My research interests are in Ecology and Eco-technology. I do focus on research in the ecology of Freshwater and Soil; algae, symbiotic fungi (Mycorrhiza and other endophytic fungi in plants) and metal accumulating plants. Ecological knowledge of fungi/algae/plants can help us trying them as Eco-technological tools - AMF as a bio-fertilisers, algae as a double-edged tool for phycoremediation, bio-energy, food or nutraceutical resource and specific plants as phytoremediation tools
