Description
In light of the water crisis and water infrastructure improvement the company WPL has developed
a set of solutions to better the recycling of water with modern environments. The Capacity down pipe (CDP) has
the objective of improving regional water storage capacity and providing extra storm water retention capacity.
CDP-Wateringpipe is the name given to the domestic range of drainage improvements. Water which would usually
run from roof tops directly into under ground pipe networks is collected within the down pipe, hence the name Capacity
Down Pipe. The volume of retained water can be redirected to a purpose which otherwise would have been supplied by
mains water. Applications such as irrigation or toilet flushing can be connected to the CDP system to greatly reduce
mains demand. The cost effective solution is a simple down pipe modification. The down pipe and water butt functions are
roled into one plastic device. This saves space but also requiers no pumps to distribute the water.
Secondly the device is capable of attenuation of water flows. The contained water can be controlled with greater efficiency
to reduce flooding. The cost effective solution for above ground is replicable below ground to maximixe the retention volume.
Hence CDP-FCChambers the name given to underground pipe network modification using the Float valve.
Further more this system is also adoptable to green house and poly tunnel structures to form rural retention networks capable of
providing catchment areas with a solution to excess rainfall relief issues(flooding). While making the most of the wide spread implementation
of the extra storage capacity for farming purposes and therefore playing a role in the food security threat facing humanity.
Although in early stage development the CDP products are ready to become a major part in the battle of providing global water security. This is
an ambitious goal and needs corroboration in fast tracking the designs into mass production and distribution across all continents.
Yours truly Mr. K.Frost of Watering Pipe Ltd.
