About
Maitri grew up in Bali from the age of 1. After completing high school, he obtained his BSc. in Geosciences and Astrophysics in Germany and his MSc. in Environmental Hydrology in the Netherlands.Being passionate about the environment and business, Maitri returned to Bali to start Eco Mantra with Sean Nino Lotze, a consulting company in the field of energy, water and waste. The company works closely with large resorts in Bali and develops data driven saving strategies that help save costs and benefit the environment all the while building a database of consumption and waste of the tourism industry.
Maitri is passionate about making a difference in Bali and believes that the island needs innovators and a strong youth movement to push for much needed change.
