Narges Esfandiar, PhD-Research assistant at Temple University
Summary
I am a PhD candidate at civil and environmental engineering and have a broad interest in water treatment, sustainable stormwater management tools and biosorbents. I completed a bachelor in civil engineering and a master in environmental engineering and came to the US in early 2018 to start my PhD.
My current research focuses on green stormwater infrastructure (GSI) and the removal of different contaminants from stormwater in urban areas. I am interested in how GSI amended by different green adsorbents affects the mitigation of metals, nutrients and PAHs from stromwater.
