Summary
I have studied civil engineering at Delft University of Technology, where I majored as a geohydrologist. I started working for the public drinkwater company for the province of Drenthe in the Netherlands. First only as a geohydrologist, but later also became responsible for watersupply and making the prognosis. For many years I have been a guest lecturer at Unesco-IHE in Delft.
