Sadjad Mohammadian, Researcher, Project coordinator at University of Duisburg-Essen
About
My main focus is flow and transport in subsurface resources, including groundwater and oil reservoirs. I hold a Master degree in Petroleum Engineering from University of Louisiana at Lafayatte, LA, USA, and a PhD in Hydrogeology from TU Freiberg, Germany.
Currently, I am coordinating a Horizon 2020 Project, called REGROUND, which aims to create a market-ready application to mitigate the risk of heavy metal contaminations in groundwater using nanoparticles. We are applying our technology in field-scale across Europe and rest of the world, and are looking for candidate contaminated sites to remediate.
