About

Mr. Daraghmah is a Senior Water and Environmental Engineer. He holds a BSc degree in Civil Engineering and an MSc degree in Water and Environmental Engineering from An-Najah National University. In addition to that, he holds a PGDip Degree in Sustainable Urban Development from Erasmus University Rotterdam. 

Eng. Daraghmah has more than five years’ experience in the field of Water and Environmental Engineering. He worked for several years as a researcher at Water and Environmental Studies Institute (WESI) at An-Najah National University.  Also, he was a member of the Palestinian-Dutch Academic Cooperation Program on Water (PADUCO) for Innovative water solutions for Palestine (Wastewater and Renewable Energy in the West Bank). Throughout these involvements, he participated in preparing many studies mainly; “Use of renewable energy in wastewater treatment” and “Water management and governance.”  

Currently, Eng. Daraghmah is a member of Universal Group for Engineering and Consulting – UG. At present, he is participating as a Wastewater Process Engineer in Design Review and Construction of Hebron City WWTP under the supervision of UG and Artelia, Passion & Solutions Funded by AFD, WB, EU. Recently, He had involved as an Infrastructural Engineer in Water Loss Reduction Project at Nablus City under the supervision of UG and CONSULAQUA Hamburg GmbH Funded by KfW. Also, he got involved as a Sanitation Engineer in the Preparation of a Sanitation Master Plan for the Service Area of Jerusalem Water Undertaking (JWU) under the supervision of UG and Dorsch International Consultants GmbH, Funded by KfW.
