Sonja Behmel, Scientific coordinator at APEL

Holder of a master’s degree in Geography and working on a doctoral project I have been involved in the management and the spatiotemporal analysis of water quality data for many years. My professional experience includes working on the conceptualization, designing and implementation of a water quality database in an urban/rural planning context, and participating in the development of an interactive geographic visualization tool for water quality information. Building on that expertise, I founded, together with academic and business partners, Watershed Monitoring to contribute my ideas, energy and expertise to the water community.
