As a Water Technology Engineer, you will take ownership for performing water analysis in our Water technology laboratory. You will use a variety of instruments and methods to prepare samples for routine testing. You will play an integral role in developing and testing the future of our chemical products for our global customers.
As an Technology Engineer - Water Technology, you will be responsible for:
Applying scientific and engineering methodologies to analyse the performance and implementation potential of processes
Creating and performance testing of chemicals for new formulations and existing products
Collaborating with cross-functional project teams to design experiments to test and verify our products
Overseeing the preparation of filtration, digestion and extraction samples to be analyzed for quality
Preparing comprehensive analytical reports to provide insight on test results data
Following internal Health, Safety and Environment laboratory policies to ensure safety , compliance and up-to date records
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Have a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry Chemical Engineer or Applied Fields and demonstrated laboratory experience in analytical chemistry
Show knowledge of Colorimetric Analysis, including UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, Segmented Flow Analysis and Automated Discrete Analyzer
Have experience of using state-of-art analytical instrumentation in academic, industrial or commercial environment
Have experience in analytical techniques used in the analysis solids, oils and water
Show knowledge in operating Hg, Flow Injection, BOD, TOC, COD, Sulfate analyzers, GC, ICP, ICP-MS, UV VIS, GFAA, FlowCAM, and microscopes
Be able to accurately perform chemical, bacteriological or biological tests with required quality control
Be a good team player, enjoy collaborating and solving problems with others
