Job Summary

Black and Veatch is seeking an experienced Client Director to join a well-established and expanding water/wastewater team in our Houston office. The Client Director will be responsible for leading our Water business with select clients in the Houston area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing client and pursuit strategies, leading business development activities, overall business financial management, contract management, and ensuring client satisfaction. The Client Director is accountable for meeting new business and earnings financial goals; development of strong relationships with clients, teaming partners and contractors; and driving business development.

Key Responsibilities

•    Serve as the Client Director and provide leadership to project and pursuit teams
•    Meet new business and earnings financial goals
•    Develop client and pursuit strategies
•    Manage contracts and legal issues
•    Manage and mitigate risks
•    Identify key client interests and drivers on projects and pursuits and communicate with team members
•    Lead proposal development and pursuit of business development opportunities
•    Develop strong relationships with clients, project teams, teaming partners and contractors
•    Leverage professional networking skills to help identify and pursue project opportunities

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor of science degree.

Certifications

Professional Engineer Licensed in the State of Texas
