Using Biosol® in the Griffith City Council, (New South Wales, Australia) sewer system we have recorded a 75% reduction in Phosphorus entering the sewage treatment plant. In addition, Biosol's odour control has proven far superior to the previous dosing regime of Magnesium Hydroxide Slurry (MHS) and Ferrous chloride. There is a remarkable increase in the surface pH of the dosed wet wells and discharge manholes from around pH2 with the MHS and Ferrous Chloride dosing to in excess of pH4.5 with Biosol dosing.
