Overview

Carollo Engineers is a nationally recognized engineering firm specializing in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater facilities. We are seeking a Water Reuse Technologist to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Performing engineering work in various engineering fields
• Advanced treatment process analysis
• Statistical analysis of data sets
• Testing and analysis quality control
• Assist with the preparation of technical memoranda, reports and electronic deliverables
• Participation in proposal writing and implementation of applied research grants

Qualifications

• PhD degree in Environmental Engineering or related discipline
• 2+ years of directly-relevant experience in water reuse related engineering efforts
• Knowledge of advanced water and wastewater treatment systems, in particular for water reuse applications
• Previous work or research related to PFAS fate, transport, and/or treatment across a range of water systems
• Working knowledge of pathogens in wastewater and water reuse applications
• Working knowledge of public health as it pertains to potable water reuse
• Application of engineering principles including critical thinking, analysis, statistics, and innovative techniques
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Have the ability to communicate effectively with clients and project team
• Highly motivated, articulate, and self-starting
• Robust skills in data analysis in software such as R
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel

Pay Range

$90,000 to $100,000 annually.  Pay may be more or less depending on experience, skills, education or geographical location.
