Overview
Carollo Engineers is a nationally recognized engineering firm specializing in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater facilities. We are seeking a Water Reuse Technologist to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Performing engineering work in various engineering fields
- Advanced treatment process analysis
- Statistical analysis of data sets
- Testing and analysis quality control
- Assist with the preparation of technical memoranda, reports and electronic deliverables
- Participation in proposal writing and implementation of applied research grants
Qualifications
- PhD degree in Environmental Engineering or related discipline
- 2+ years of directly-relevant experience in water reuse related engineering efforts
- Knowledge of advanced water and wastewater treatment systems, in particular for water reuse applications
- Previous work or research related to PFAS fate, transport, and/or treatment across a range of water systems
- Working knowledge of pathogens in wastewater and water reuse applications
- Working knowledge of public health as it pertains to potable water reuse
- Application of engineering principles including critical thinking, analysis, statistics, and innovative techniques
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Have the ability to communicate effectively with clients and project team
- Highly motivated, articulate, and self-starting
- Robust skills in data analysis in software such as R
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel
Pay Range
$90,000 to $100,000 annually. Pay may be more or less depending on experience, skills, education or geographical location.
