CDP is looking for a Senior Disclosure Operations Officer to help us with our disclosure process. You would be responsible for engaging companies to encourage and support them, to disclosure their environmental data to CDP. You will have excellent customer service skills and feel comfortable developing new business. We are looking for someone that already has work experience in sustainability and climate change who is keen to take the next step in their career. You will be working with the wider global disclosure team as well as the local India team and be responsible for line managing the Disclosure Operations Officer.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the disclosure operations for CDP India ensuring effective delivery of key segments of CDP’s core disclosure operations, and improvement projects, working across teams
- Engaging directly with companies to encourage them and support their disclosure of environmental data to CDP on climate change, forests and water security
- Respond to queries related to CDP questionnaires and online systems providing effective and high-quality support
- Assist with the review, development, and documentation of disclosure processes
- Undertaking primary and secondary research and analysis to support technical report writing
- Ensure all technical outputs are accurately and appropriately categorised and presented
- Draft well-written and concise communications materials
- Database Management
- Support with annual reporting to donors
- Stakeholder and corporate engagement
- Line management of the Disclosure Operations Officer
- The precise description and nature of your job may be varied from time to time, and you may be required to carry out other duties as necessary to meet business needs
You will have the following skills and experience:
Essential criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree with minimum of 3+ years’ full-time work experience in fields relevant to sustainability and climate change
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage companies and build rapport
- Detail-oriented and organized thinker who can juggle multiple, competing priorities
- High accountability, ownership of tasks and ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office and internet research
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with multiple departments
- Fluent English required; both verbal and written
Desirable criteria
- Experience in sustainability reporting, GHG inventory and climate change
- Good knowledge of local and global sustainability and environmental issues
- Experience in project management preferred
- Experience of line management
This is a full-time role based at CDP’s New Delhi office for a fixed term of 2.5 years ( with possibility of renewable basis performance ).
Salary and benefits: INR 9,00,000 – 12,00,000 exclusive of annual discretionary bonus (depending on company performance), 22 holidays ( annually ) plus bank holidays
