Reports to: VP, General Manager (Water Solutions)
Travel: up to 50%
Global support: This business has a significant presence in Asia, must be able to support various time zones.

DuPont Water Solutions (DWS) is a $1.4 Bn water technology leader, focused on solving global challenges in water purification, conservation and reuse. DWS serves its thousands of customers in diverse industries through four major market segments i.e. Residential/Commercial. Industrial, Municipal and Specialty using multiple technologies from its portfolio across major geographies of the world. As industrial growth is correlated to water scarcity and thus filtration needs, Asia, EMEA and Americas account for 55%, 25% and 20% of the global revenues respectively. This business operates globally with ~2500 employees, 11 manufacturing sites and a # of technical centersin various continents.
The Role
The Director, Global Strategy, Growth, and M&A will specifically refine the current business plan as well as define the execution roadmaps, investments and resources needed to grow the business from $1.4B to $2B by 2023, from organic, innovation and in-organic led growth. S/he will lead a team with 8-10 direct reports and oversee the various cross-functional project teams responsible for Strategy, Strategic programs such as customer excellence transformation, digital transformation as well as integration of acquisitions.
The successful candidate will:
Own and develop strategy and execute a clear action plan core and new spaces.
Work with the business leader and global leadership team to define a portfolio of in-organic growth options in core, adjacency and new space; execute the same with a sense of urgency and advance our progress to $2 Bn. growth aspiration.
Be the custodial of overall business strategy and shape it with well aligned execution plan and differential management in the center of everything we do: technologies, markets and regions.
Lead strategic transformational growth programs for customer excellence transformation, digital strategy and other initiatives as identified from time to time.
Lead, build and position the strategy, growth and M&A team to be a world class team, helping us deliver our growth aspiration.

Job Qualification
Background/experience:
Market/Strategy Work: 10 years business management including evaluating the market attractiveness and strategic fit of new businesses/markets/domains.
5-10 years’ experience in business strategy or business development, with substantial strategy and acquisition diligence experience in non-commodity markets.
Education: Undergraduate degree in business management, marketing, or a technical degree; MBA from top tier university preferred
Industry Experience:3+ years’ experience in a technology-driven or technology-enabled non-commodity industry.
Line/Functional Experience:2-5 years’ experience executing in a non-consulting role where s/he gained exposure to customers is highly preferred.
Commercial Diligence:Specific track record of assessing and valuing adjacent markets. Experience in M&A target cultivation and deal execution.
