Grundfos Americas Corporation is seeking an experienced Senior Area Marketing Manager, Industry Americas to join its Industry Products & Market Strategy Americas team. The Senior Area Marketing Manager will be responsible to lead a team which secure all marketing activities in the IND performance unit in Americas. This includes providing leadership to the team by setting the strategy and execution for the Americas marketing organization. The position will be responsible for continuing our journey toward Account Based Marketing. The Senior Area Marketing Manager will collaborate with global marketing and sales teams. This position reports directly to the Senior Regional Sales Director and will operate daily out of the Lenexa, KS facility. Relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must have authorization to work in the USA without support.

What is the job about?
• Overall responsible, together with Americas management and IND CMO for proposing, developing and implementing marketing projects to drive growth objectives through lead generation and market awareness.
• Responsible for overall product promotion related to Americas IND product portfolio
• Managing the overall communication as it relates to the IND product portfolio including product release, pricing changes and market announcements.
• Overall responsible for the AMERICAS IND digital marketing strategy and deployment.
• Manage the ongoing relation with third party supplier e.g. Marketing agencies on “local Americas activities” – In shared global activities in collaboration with the IND global solutions & marketing team.
• Responsible for the performance of the team through guidance, direction setting and motivation of the workforce.
• Responsible for creating, implementing and managing all customer events, trade show events and product launch events in the Americas.
• Special attention to staying on top of Digital marketing opportunities in the DBS Americas market.
What do you need to apply?
Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree from a business school or university, Master’s preferred. Additionally, have a minimum of 8 years of experience with a proven track record in working with marketing, digital and communications. Also have 5 years’ experience from developing, managing, and implementing marketing activities and initiatives to achieve successful implementations in a global organization.
• Experience of managing a team with multinational responsibilities.
• Proven track record of digital skills including analysis of digital opportunities (eg. Digital atomization flow), digital customer journey optimization and deployment on multiple digital channels including Marketo and Lead Method.
• Experience with Salesforce and marketing automation preferred.
• Be able to approach any given task/project from a customer centric angle
• Having solid interpersonal skills and understanding of team’s performance.
• A strong communicator, who is able to connect, motivate, influence and ensure progress within networks of a large complex organizations with many different stakeholders
• Dynamic and result-oriented whilst keeping a clear view of the big picture
• Solid business acumen and result driven profile
• Have a creative and Innovative mindset which secures focus on differentiation in the market
• Outgoing and pleasant personality, with ability to cut through and maintain decisions. Proactive and action-oriented mind set. Be flexible, have curiosity, enthusiasm and passion.
• Experience managing third-party vendor partners
• Ability to be self-motivated and work with minimal daily direction
• Multi-lingual (English/Spanish/Portuguese) preferred
• Must be able to travel up to 10% if necessary. Thus, candidates should be able to maintain valid identification.
