Maritime Market Sector–Within the Transportation Business Group, the Maritime Market Sector is one of the most diversified market sectors.  This reflects that this service offering routinely works for local Port Authorities, private entities, Federal and local Governments, and similar clients in each of the 50 US states and in Panama, Australia, the Caribbean, the Pacific, and the Gulf Arab States.  In 2018, Engineering News Record ranked HDR sixth in size of business in the important ports/maritime category.  We have nearly 60 employees in this Market Sector spanning the range of services from port and marine infrastructure planning; the design of channels, wharves, docks, piers, intermodal facilities, backland developments, and various structures and management systems; construction management and inspection;  and  asset management and operations assistance.
