Primary Responsibilities

HDR is looking for a Project Manager to join our Water Business Group in either Raleigh or Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years’ progressive experience leading design teams to implement water treatment and/or wastewater treatment projects through the planning, design, permitting and construction phases. They will perform client development and management activities to support our South Atlantic (North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia) Water Business Group team. They will need to be skilled in studies, contributing to multiple design teams, coordinating with sub-consultants and utility client staff. Duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:

 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related discipline required.  

PE license required

Minimum of 10 years project management experience in water/wastewater design

Microsoft Office Suite experience is required

Excellent communication, leadership and planning skills, and ability to thrive in a team environment. Position requires very strong skills in preparing client presentations, project memoranda and reports

Attitude and commitment to being an active participant of employee-owned culture

Must be able to travel regionally/nationally as needed

Preferred Qualifications

MS in Civil or Environmental Engineering preferred

North Carolina PE license desired

Local candidates are preferred
