Position

The Water Distribution and Analytics Project Manager (WD&A-PM) within Client Services (CS) supports customers and sales teams with sales pursuits, project management, implementation, and support services for our Water Distribution and Analytics.  With focus on Info360 globally and water distribution implementation projects in North America, the WD&A-PM will work across teams in Development/R&D, Product Management, and Sales to ensure all Live products technically satisfy market demand and ultimately achieve client success.  The WD&A-PM will report to the Client Services Manager-Americas and to the VP Client Services.

• Assist regional sales managers and sales engineers with proposal development and client interview presentations; Reduce the Company’s risk by developing Go-No Go procedures for Water Distribution Projects including Live (Info360 and IWLive) project pursuits in North America; Ensure client success with robust and clear scope of work documents/price proposals and strong implementation teams
• Project Manager for Water Distribution and Live (Info360 and IWLive) Implementation Projects. Assist with implementation of Info360 on client’s on-premise and cloud servers as both a project manager and engineer; Independently determine and implement solutions for clients that leverage their operational data to optimize their water networks
• As part of implementation projects, conduct software training courses on-line and at Innovyze offices and at client sites (some global travel may be required)
• As the Water Distribution Product Specialist, you meet with the Water Distribution Product Manager and development team weekly to develop solutions for clients that leverage their operational data and models to optimize their water networks
• As the client service leader for these product lines in North America, disseminate information to team so they can provide exceptional implementation and support services.
• Log product defects and feature requests with development team; for complex features, test product workflows and author help files as needed to continually improve product
• Support customers with software installations, configurations, updates, and technical support requests
• Evaluate and help develop use case applications (pumping energy, water quality, etc.) using a business case evaluation approach to help prioritize application development; vet decision matrix prioritization with the Product Manager
• Assist in creation of product videos, users guides/manuals, and marketing materials with the Product Manager
• Consistently maintain client satisfaction that results in additional opportunities and excellent Company references
• Make presentations to clients and at industry conferences in cooperation with Product and Sales Team

Requirements

• M.S. in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering
• At least 10+ years of experience in the water distribution network modeling, preferably at a water utility or engineering consulting firm in a leadership position
• Experience managing diverse teams across wide geographies during technology implementations
• Knowledge of key Innovyze and ESRI products, specifically InfoWater, WSPro, Info360 and IWLive
• Expert in technical documentation and presentation
• Experience in completing projects using Innovyze products
• Management of database systems (SQL Server or PostgreSQL), understanding website design (HTML, CSS, Javascript), and casual use of programming languages (Python, SQL, Ruby, etc.)
• Must be client oriented and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in fast pace environment
• Proactive in monitoring and resolving customer issues
• Keen to learn and able to grasp new concepts quickly specifically in skill gaps of key products mentioned above
• Self-motivated, able to take initiative and anticipate needs, learning to work independently and carry projects through to completion with moderate guidance/direction
• Approachable, friendly and patient when dealing with customers
