We are looking for a driven and curious client-focused Water/ Wastewater Treatment Process Engineer in to support our regional team.
This position performs a variety of engineering work focused on the treatment of wastewater, from the initial characterization, modeling, and planning phases of projects through design of equipment, systems, or processes. With a focus on operational efficiency and regulatory compliance, this position offers project leadership and technology development opportunities. The candidate should have thorough knowledge of treatment processes; understands how treatment facilities are an integral part of the entire wastewater collection, treatment and resource recovery process. This client-facing candidate will build understanding of business trends, industry issues, and technology developments.
• As a key member of our team, you’ll play an active role in multi-discipline planning, design and operations projects that may include preparation of studies and construction contract documents for all types and sizes of water and wastewater projects.
• Effectively lead project teams including engineering disciplines from various company offices
• Plans and conducts work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.
• Provides technical guidance to designers/drafters and less experienced engineers.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
• At least 6 years of progressively responsible experience in the design and construction of municipal wastewater treatment facilities and related projects
• Proven experience working with project managers to deliver successful related projects
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
• Experience modelling wastewater treatment facilities in SUMO, Biowin, or similar modelling platform .
• Professional Engineer License (PE) required; ability to obtain a PE within 6 months preferred.
Ideally, here’s what you’ll also have:
• Master’s degree in Engineering
