The Commercial Sales Organization leads strategic planning and directs national account retail selling for the beverages division. The organization brings strategic focus and enhanced communication by providing sales and promotional support to PepsiCo’s national customer accounts and bottlers. They seek to develop the beverage category and identify key priorities for increasing sales. Sales interns will be offered positions within the Customer or Commercial team of the Commercial Sales Organization.
The Customer team includes general managers who operate sales teams that are directly responsible for developing the annual account strategy and operating plan, delivering the sales P&L, and managing relations with our largest and most strategic customers. The Commercial team serves as a conduit between sales and marketing teams to ensure that innovation receives the appropriate financial and program support.
What you can expect:
The Commercial Planning Manager role will be responsible for leading sales commercial planning for the Water+ Portfolio - inclusive of bubly, Aquafina and Lifewtr. This includes leading the development of innovative programs, and sales tools, to drive overall sales performance against key initiatives.
Key accountabilities of this role include the following:
- Leading Water+ commercial sales strategy in partnership with marketing, finance, customers, and division teams
- Developing brand sales materials inclusive of sell decks, execution tools, forecasts, and launch readiness decks
- Forecasting for innovation in partnership with cross-functional partners
- Collaborating with brand marketing, cross functional sector and division partners on short and long-term strategies
- Supporting AOP (annual operating plan) and First Look Development
- Driving weekly post-program/innovation scorecard analysis, and action planning
- Staying apprised of brand insights, economic conditions, retail industry and consumer trends in order to translate this data into sales and channel strategies

Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelors Degree required
- Minimum 5 Years in CPG Sales, Commercial, category management or strategy experience
- Experience within the PBNA field or sector role previously preferred
- Sales experience a plus for this role to guide sales/commercial strategy
