A £30 million project to improve water services to more than 54,000 customers is set to get underway.
The works will change the source of the water supply from Burncrooks Water Treatment Works (WTW) in west Stirlingshire to Milgnavie WTW in East Dunbartonshire.
The installation of approx. 8 miles of new water main will ensure customers in parts of Bearsden, west Milngavie, Strathblane, Blanefield, Faifley and Clydebank will receive the highest quality drinking water for years to come.
