The successful candidate will lead a multidisciplinary team taking a diverse range of projects through feasibility and optioneering to arrive at a preferred capital project solution for Southern Water. Leading a blended team of Stantec, partner and client staff, you will use your knowledge and experience to deliver effective solutions for our clients and the communities around us. The role will initially be undertaken via remote working, with the occasional site visit, however upon re-opening of the client offices there is the potential/likelihood for the role to be based out of Southern Water’s Falmer office for a minimum number of days/wk.

About you

To be considered for this role, you must be a qualified Engineer. You will ideally be Chartered or a member of a relevant engineering institution eg. ICE. You must have an experienced level of leadership to set the direction for the technical team, project and business on clean water treatment projects. Also, you should have had exposure to successfully delivering studies and feasibility projects.

The opening allows you to work on a major capital investment programme. You will be experienced in working closely with Project Managers to ensure our client’s needs are met and this will be on-time and to budget with an experience of delivering to a high standard. You will have the chance to build working relationships with our client and external stakeholders, both on and off site.
