This position is suited to an individual that is looking to develop their Technician skills, delivering operational performance of potable water network including leakage and process operation.
You will be working in and around MOD sites, working in high security areas with special access. You must be able to go through MOD security clearance.

What will you be doing?
Operation and maintenance of potable water network, water treatment works and water abstraction process.
Planning and implementation of leakage control activities.
Deputising for Water Operations Team Manager.
Potential member of out-of hours standby arrangements.
Analysis of network data.
Identifying and responding to leaks and bursts
Monitoring potable water network for flow, pressure, leakage etc
Preparation of reports
Water Quality sampling
This role involves working outside in all weather and you must be able to respond to and resolve emergency situations.
What are we looking for?
Qualification/Experience in water network and treatment operation or
A wealth of experience within clean water operations environment
Thorough working knowledge of leakage identification and control
Awareness and understanding of the regulatory aspects within the water industry, particularly in relation to water quality.
Valve/network control and isolation operations.
Leakage management.
Water quality sampling.
Water regulations inspector (certified)
Accredited Risk Assessor
Water hygiene (EUSR)
You must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance.
