Job Title: Mobile Multiskilled Service Engineer / Technician
Salary: £36,424.00 to £42,500.00 depending on experience and qualifications
Hours: 43 hours a week - Applicants must be able to cover a call-out roster of 1 in 4
weekends once trained.
Location: This is a regional mobile role covering South East & London: predominantly
working at St Georges Hospital Tooting, London, but also covering NHS Hospitals at
Kingston upon Thames, Reading and Southampton.
As a multi skilled engineer you will be proactively undertaking daily operational and maintenance routines of Energy Centre equipment; including Steam Boilers, LTHW Systems, and associated equipment.
What you’ll do,
Carry out reactive and planned maintenance
Carry out all works in line with Veolia health and safety policy, this may include supervision of contractors, permit to work and risk assessment.
Complete service reports and associated paperwork
Provide an appropriate response to emergency situations.
Carry out diagnostic and fault finding to plant and equipment
Carry out routine servicing and commissioning to plant and equipment
This role involves some lifting, working at heights and / or in confined spaces
Qualifications
The experience you will need,
Essential:
Qualification in mechanical or electrical Industrial maintenance
Experience in Operation of Steam Plant and Associated Equipment
Knowledge of planned maintenance schedules and repair works
Be able to dismantle and reassemble boilers and associated equipment for annual inspections.
Proven good record of health and safety performance
Ability to write and follow Risk assessments for specific tasks.
Ability to Follow Method Statements and amend as required
Computer literate
Full driving licence required
Desirable:
BOAS Operator Certificate or equivalent
18th Edition or equivalent
High Voltage Operational Safety Certificate
