Our staff includes certified or registered professionals in civil, mechanical, chemical, and electrical engineering; water and wastewater treatment planning and design; geology, engineering geology, and hydrogeology; architecture; GIS; land surveying; control system cybersecurity; and construction management and inspection services.

WHAT’S THE JOB?
- This senior level contributor will oversee and manage a team of project engineers and designers though water/wastewater treatment plant projects as well as supervise and train junior-level staff.
- Engage in client interaction throughout projects and coordinate with sub-consultants
- Assist in preparing and negotiating contracts and change orders with clients and sub-contractors
- Conduct site visits and generate reports and recommendations based on findings
- Prepare contract documents including drawings, specifications, construction cost estimates and design calculations and reports
- Establish and maintain project, phase, and task level budgets and schedules
- Prepare responses to construction RFI’s and submittals and review shop drawings
- Assist in coordinating the work of a multi-disciplined team throughout the design development and contract document phases of a project
- Prepare responses to competitive proposals and attend interviews as necessary
- Attend and participate in industry events, as necessary, and connect with existing and new clients
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor’s degree in in Civil/Environmental Engineering.
- 10+ years’ experience in civil engineering consulting or engineering management
- Excellent writing and communication skills are essential.
- Experience with CAD and GIS.
- PE licensure in the State of California or ability to obtain PE licensure within 6 months of hire. PE licensure in other states that the firm is actively practicing may also be considered.
BONUS CREDIT FOR..
- Master’s degree in in Civil/Environmental Engineering
- Emphasis on environmental/water resources engineering
- Ability to process engineering calculations unaided, compile plans and organize basic designs
- Proven ability to managing multiple priorities and deadlines
- Must effectively communicate with all project team members
- Proven ability to write technical information using appropriate grammar, punctuation and spelling for concise reader-friendliness and clarity
- Maintaining professional competency may require attending education classes and seminars, reading professional publications, and attending professional society meetings
