For plants designed for treatment of municipal wastewater SRT values are 20 to 30 d range and F/M may range from 0.1 to 0.05 gBOD/gVSSd .
At SRT in the range of 5 to 7d, F/M is 03. to 0.5gBOD/gVSSd
SRT can be related to F/M as per following eq
