Recycling Water
Water can be considered to be recycled through many different treatment and purification processes. This is usually implemented by municipalities, but is increasingly done by private industry. For a general overview, see:

There are different levels of recycling. In some cases, for example, the goal may be to make the water suitable for drinking, while in other cases the water may be desired for other purposes such as irrigation or industrial work (cooling etc.).
