Solar Distillation Panels might be a good fit. They require ZERO grid connected energy and have been proven to create pure, potable water from Frac Water, Effluent, Contaminated Mine Water, they have even proven to create pure, potable water from leachate! Panels can create between 7 - 15 Gallons per day of pure, potable water depending on type of water being treated and the amount of Sunshine Hours, need sunlight to make the Panel effective/work.
