The biggest challenge if you ...

The biggest challenge if you are doing bioremediation on soil is the distribution of oxygen and nutrients.  In water, that is an entire subject that I teach for 5 days at 10 hours a day.  Tough to answer as I am not sure of a specific question.  Maybe compare and contrast the different secondary biological degradation processes?  Please clarify for us.  Thanks, Sean

Hi Kgabo, very nice to hear ...

Hi Kgabo, very nice to hear that you are doing research on Bioremediation. I have long experience of working in this field and developed a unique process called Anoxic Bioremediation (ABR) to treat wastewater in any waterbody, STP etc.

I am writing a book on this subject also. I can help you but I need more details about your research project. Please write to me directly on mamta.tomar@gmail.com

Bioremediation is in fact ...

Bioremediation is in fact one of the best options.  However, you need to verify the nature of effluent which, understandably is different for a variety of industries.  Once this is done, you need to also ascertain the compounds that you wish to tackle.  There are different strains of bacteria and even fungal applications you can opt for.  So, you need to be pretty specific lest you may get disappointed.

I just would like to tell that it is a slow process to handle a large amount of wastewater. It's It's effectiveness increases with increase in exposure time. You have to depend on indigenous microbes for wastewater treatment as wastewater will not easily accept seeding
