i am compiling a list of available costing and planning tools related to water infrastructure. Do you have any suggestion that is not already mentioned in this list: tools
I saw a previous post on Veolia tool but the link was removed from their website.
US EPA free CUPSS software is pretty good at keeping track of utility asset values, replacement costs, and finances and showing based on rate structures if a utility will be operating in the red or black in future years with a 20 year forward analysis including water rate planning.
64 Seconds WaterPoint Network is a GIS and Asset Management mobile app that can keep a geographic inventory of assets and also export the asset inventory, status, and condition data out to CUPSS for the long term 20 year financial analysis.
I suggest you an open-source solution called Giswater. It's aimed for the integral water cycle managament (water supply, sewerage or flood risks). One of its many features includes costing and planning for water infrastructure.
for calculating pumping costs and determining the need and size of water system components, TdhNet is a full featured hydraulic model available for both Windows and Linux.
not sure what list you are referring to since the link brings a generic page up. If I may suggest that you contact me via www.wateroffice.com and we can discuss
