Having read your report it is clear you have significant terrain challenges. If some of the remoter communities could use more local water sources, the community based ClariWash self washing filtration system may be a solution for them. It needs no power supply or intervention to backwash. Whilst new technology, 6 filters have been in Uganda for over a year. I attach a write up incase of interest. I can supply support if required.
