OK. Perhaps some more information on the moieties making up TDS would be required. Some metals can be precipitated by pH adjustments, but this is not the case with Na or K. If you have dissolved organics you may need to look at a biological system. There are some systems that use aerobic bacteria on curtains down which the effluent runs.
