1. Design of a lift system based on water requirement for irrigation as per cropping pattern in the region. It needs static head, water demand/ requirement, length of rising mains along the alignment. CCA (Cultivable Command Area) where irrigation is to be applied. Rain fall DATA, Distribution system to be adopted (Spriklers system, drip irrigation, flow irrigation under gravity through channels/pipes), Automation of project 2: GIS mapping of all points(right from cannals, Lifting station, water delivery point, water distribution points) on Parner plateau 3: Remote sensing design and implementation 4.Amount of water available to be moved from canals to irrigation; static head between canals and irrigation points; areas to be irrigated. Availablity of Power, Broadband/Internet/Mobile Signal available in the region to be irrigated are to be explored.
